Sisters Breathwork

This is an invitation to a Breathwork circle for women. Drop into a warm, nurturing space where you can bring your authentic, vulnerable self and all that is present in the moment. It's a precious place to turn inward, relax and recharge your system and become aware of what wants to unfold from the depths of your heart.

Breathwork and the conscious, connected breath are a powerful tool to connect deeply with our inner landscape and bring more freedom, clarity and peace into our lives. When we breathe, we transform our state of being, bringing more awareness to our existence and our choices, which can lead to more ease, harmony and flow in our lives. Breathwork helps us to clear emotions and blockages, feel more secure and comfortable in our bodies and soften into our heart space. This practice can lead to great insights, expanded awareness and a magical state of bliss and presence.

Participating in this journey is also an opportunity to connect with each other and feel the warmth and beauty of coming together as women.

I am very much looking forward to this evening and to sharing some experiences with you along the way.

No previous knowledge is necessary. Suitable for all levels.

If you are a beginner or have not worked with me before and want to join, you are more than welcome.
I will send you a recording of the theory element to prepare you for the Breathwork practice session.

WHAT TO BRING AND HOW TO PREPARE
Please wear comfortable clothes. Please bring a water bottle, a journal and a pen.
Eat something light before the session, or even better, wait to have your meal until after the class.

RECORDING
Before the class, I will send you a recording with some information about the Breathwork journey.
You need to listen to it before coming to class. Thank you.

IMPORTANT
In case of acute or long-term health problems (mental or physical) and if you are pregnant, please get in touch with me before the registration. Breathwork is a powerful tool that can lead to emotions and physical reactions.
With your registration, you confirm that you take full responsibility for yourself and your process.
Please be aware of your boundaries and communicate them at all times.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and can result in physical and emotional release. As a precaution, these conditions are contraindicated in this conscious connected breathwork practice: Cardiovascular disease, detached retina or glaucoma, brain or abdomen aneurysm, epilepsy, biopolar or schizophrenia, diabetes and thyroid conditions, high blood pressure. If this is the case, please talk to me, in some cases, I may be able to offer private sessions.

Breathwork – Conscious Connected Breath

The Conscious Connected Breath can be described as an active meditation that helps to reduce the chatter in the mind and release emotions through the practice of this physical breathing technique. Breathwork acts as a portal and door to our internal and external worlds. In one session, you can create space and expansion along with an opportunity for shifts, movement, insights, and change.

It gives you a chance to come back to your body, a calmer mind and more connected state with yourself.

It is beautiful and nourishing to do this in a group setting.

The breath is one of our body's most obvious functions. Regulated by our autonomic nervous system, it functions without our intervention and is often ignored. The breath significantly impacts our mental health and physical wellbeing.

Our days are often packed, and we have the habit of pushing down our true emotions just to continue functioning in this world. This survival strategy may work in the short term, but when we don't process these emotions and continue to suppress them over and over again, this energy gets trapped in our bodies and can turn into physical, mental, or emotional pain.

As I dance through life with an open heart and never-ending curiosity about what our time on this planet and personal growth has to offer, I experienced many different ways to dive deep and connect with the inner landscape and the magic that lies within. On the path of self discovery and the mystery of life, I came in touch with profound teachings, and this wondrous journey continues to unfold and inspire me every day. In the past decade, I spent a lot of time in learning and remembering how to become more home in my body, how to deeply connect with myself and others, how to breathe and to flow, how to lead myself through challenges, how to stay in my truth and feeling fully alive in my feminine being. 

My passion is to create warm and beautiful places with lovely atmosphere to relax into and spaces for people to come together, closer to themselves and each other in a nourishing and joyful way. I was trained as a Breathwork facilitator (https://alchemyofbreath.com, 2020, 400h), BioDynamic Breathwork facilitator (BBTRS, L1, 2019) and Kundalini Yoga teacher (https://www.imagineacademy.eu, 2016, 500h) and taking part in lots of retreats, courses and workshops myself, is part of my life and growth since 2012. I am also deeply fascinated and passionate about Feminine embodiment, intimacy, relationship and Tao and Tantric arts and what we can create when we meet our open hearts. It touches me to share some of this field in my work with women. Currently I am in a beautiful training to become a Somatic Educator for women to deepen my knowledge around Embodiment, Trauma & the Nervous system, Shadow work and Feminine leadership and mysteries (https://www.somaticinstituteforwomen.com). Besides that, I am running a restaurant (Café des Amis, https://www.desamis.ch, since 2011) and as an interior designer I like to bring beauty to all that I touch. With Alex and my 10-year-old boy, I live in a community house in Zurich.
